Momentum is a 24-months program, implemented from January 2022 to December 2023, and funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). It is an initiative focused on reducing barriers faced by migrant and refugee women undergoing the process of socio-economic integration. The project brings together the most relevant stakeholders to generate impact and social change through dynamic collaboration. In partnership with local stakeholders in Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Hungary, Momentum will deliver vocational training to young migrant and refugee women, equipping them with educational and entrepreneurial skills and tools to enter the job market.

KEY OBJECTIVES

To map and address obstacles and barriers on vocational training and employment support provision to young Third-Country National women, with a focus on refugees.
To remove structural obstacles faced by young Third-Countries National women in accessing targeted vocational training and employment support through a multi-stakeholder collaboration framework tested in social economy.
To provide integrated services of local language, vocational training and employment support to TCN women through a targeted and gender-sensitive approach.
