EY Ripples
The global EY Ripples program aims to positively impact one billion lives by 2030. By partnering with clients and like-minded organizations, the program leverages EY professionals’ skills, knowledge, and experience to create positive change across three key areas: supporting the next generation workforce, collaboratingwith impact entrepreneurs, and accelerating environmental sustainability. In Portugal, Impact Hub Lisbon is the implementation partner, working directly with local impact entrepreneurs.
The briefing
The challenge was to expand the reach of the EY Ripples program, leveraging EY’s knowledge and networks to support more impact entrepreneurs. This included connecting EY professional volunteers with Impact Hub Lisbon’s local community of impact-driven entrepreneurs and innovators, strengthening internal EY team collaboration and motivation through meaningful engagement with local social challenges and solutions, and contributing to the program’s ambition to positively impact one billion lives by 2030.
The strategy
Our strategy focused on building bridges and synergies between EY and the local social innovation ecosystem. From large-scale events introducing the social economy to EY’s new hires, to workshops and mentorship sessions linking selected social entrepreneurs with EY professional volunteers, the approach aimed to enhance the entrepreneurs’ business resilience, productivity, and capacity to scale sustainably.
