Elements of AI for Business is a hands-on program designed to equip women entrepreneurs to gain practical skills in Artificial Intelligence and apply them strategically in their businesses.
Through in-person sessions and practical exercises, participants explore how AI can drive growth, streamline operations, and unlock new professional opportunities — whether they are still developing an idea or already running an early-stage venture.
The briefing
Selected by Google.org’s AI Opportunity Fund: Europe and supported by the Centre for Public Impact, our challenge was to design a program that provides free, in-person training, practical tools, and expert guidance for women entrepreneurs to strategically apply AI in their businesses. The goal was not just to build knowledge but also to eliminate barriers to participation and create tangible business impacts.
The strategy
- Deliver in-person training cycles with structured phases (kick-off, sessions, project work) that allow participants to learn, practice, and implement their ideas.
- Ensure equal access by providing vouchers for transportation, internet, and childcare, so that external factors such as travel or personal responsibilities do not prevent engagement.
- Select participants with early-stage projects that have clear potential to apply AI, ensuring tangible results, not just theoretical learning.
- Partner with Google specialists and ecosystem organizations to deliver cutting-edge technical content and ensure market relevance.
The outcomes
- 81 hours of training delivered across 9 program cycles throughout 2025 and 2026.
- More than 140 women equipped to integrate AI in their ventures.
A stronger local ecosystem of women-led businesses prepared to use technology strategically for long-term impact.
