Investing on the Female Entrepreneurship
‘BORA Mulheres
Bora Mulheres is one of the largest female entrepreneurship programmes in Portugal, dedicated to promoting equal leadership opportunities and gender equality in business. It provides essential training, mentoring, and networking, supportings participants in launching or expanding their businesses. Each year, over 400 women join an online Bootcamp, with 16 finalists moving on to a 3-month acceleration phase. Since 2019, the programme has impacted over 2.000 women.
The briefing
The challenge set by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners was to create a programme that empowers women to overcome barriers in the job market. The mission was to design an accessible, high-impact initiative for a large number of participants, equipping them to transform their ideas into viable products and services while fostering career success and entrepreneurial growth. By 2030, Coca-Cola aims to break barriers in the job market for more than 500.000 people and ‘Bora Mulheres plays an important role in promoting female entrepreneurship in the national ecosystem.
The strategy
Our strategy was to design an inclusive, gender-aware programme that tackled the specific challenges women face in entrepreneurship, providing essential tools, training and confidence. The approach combined practical training, expert mentoring, and strategic networking to provide meaningful support. A strong environment was created for women across Portugal, and we proudly established
an active entrepreneurial community, connected through an online platform, fostering continuous collaboration and peer support.
