Klow is an online conscious shop that is on a mission to democratize ecological & ethical fashion, without sacrificing style or design. Klow (contraction of “Keep” & “Low”) proposes an alternative to “fast-fashion” and promotes a new way of consumption by showcasing sustainable fashion products at a fair price.

Amal wants to facilitate a fresh start to women refugees in Lisbon by creating job opportunities that are rooted in their ethnic identity. Inspired by the Syrian recipe of the Aleppo Soap, well known for its natural properties for the skin, Amal created Amal Soap. It is handcrafted by Syrian women living in Lisbon, and consciously made through a traditional process using natural ingredients to ensure a genuine enriching touch on your skin.

MyPolis is a mobile app connecting politicians and citizens, with the purpose of bringing civic engagement into the 21st century, and reducing the communication gap between politicians and citizens, especially among the youngest generations. MyPolis believes politics can be fun, simple, intuitive, interactive and for everyone. Their intention is to contribute to more integrated societies, where public governance will be carried out based on social listening.

Idea Ninja empowers and supports entrepreneurs and startups by giving them the tools and skill set required to enable them to sustain and grow their initiative. To achieve that, Idea Ninja provides training, capacity building / acceleration programs and mentorship. Last but not least, they also offer access to an online toolbox platform with tutorials covering all the areas an entrepreneur needs to master.

55+ wants to foster inclusive ageing societies. There are currently 2.5 million of inactive persons over 55 in Portugal. The mission of 55+ is to value and valorize the knowledge and skills of people over 55 to enable them to lead a healthy and active life, while being fully integrated into society. For that, they are designing a platform to connect 55+ year old persons to people who need their expertize and/or services.

WeCareOn is on a mission to democratize mental health care. They developed an online platform to directly connect patients with mental health specialists. The aim is to make mental health services more accessible and affordable. Therapies are delivered online and prices can vary according to what the patient can afford to. WeCareOn has already impacted the life of 450+ patients.

A-F-Á-B-R-I-C-A is an initiative based on the principles of permaculture, aiming to create a center to dynamize the rural economy in Odemira, empower rural communities, promote sustainability and access to culture, leisure activities and education. This large-scale project is now at a very early stage. A-F-Á-B-R-I-C-A will have a particular focus on social innovation, eco construction, food and art.
